Natalie Gets Assistance After A Tragic Loss
“Grief is like the ocean; it comes in waves, ebbing and flowing. Sometimes it is overwhelming. All we can do is learn to swim.” – Vicki Harrison.
Grief came recently and suddenly for 32 year-old Natalie, a mother of two small children,a 2-year-old and 4-year-old daughter, who has suspected Autism. Natalie was nominated by her father Graham following the loss of her husband to a yet unknown cause.
Before Chris’ premature passing, Natalie was a stay at home mom, caring for her two little girls full time, especially as the 4-year-old is a special needs child and needs full-time care.
Their dad, Chris, was the sole breadwinner earning just under R6000 per month, working at a small business. Chris had no pension or medical aid, but they managed to get by on his earnings.
To ease the heartache of being without their beloved husband and father, and to help Natalie during this difficult time, the team at Hot Cares decided to assist by matching Chris’s salary for 3 months. Hot Cares will also be contributing R 10 000 towards medical expenses to run a series of test to confirm a diagnosis for her 4 year old daughter.
