Starting out his career at Radio Nova, Italy as a Junior Presenter in the early 1980’s, Tony has worked his way up the ladder and is currently a presenter and Programme Manager for Hot 91.9FM.

After a brief bout of ‘home sickness’, the radio bug got hold of Tony and it was not long before he got his next radio job at ABC Radio in Waterford, Ireland.  It was during his time here that Tony did both the Breakfast and Drive Shows and was also the Head of Music/Production.  After spending 5 years in the Emerald Isle, an opportunity to work at Radio Luxembourg was too good to miss out on.  He worked on the English Night Service Show.  After a telephone call from a certain Tony Blewitt, Tony was offered a fantastic position in South Africa, working on Capital Radio in Durban.  He did both the Breakfast and Drive Shows, helped out with and also trained up new talent.

After Capital Radio closed down Tony was offered a job working on 5FM.  Here he initially did the weekend breakfast shows and was later promoted to the weekday drive show.
